Dental Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using dental practice management software called Dentrix ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify insurance coverage and send electronic claims Maintain accurate patient records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with phone triage, appointment reminders, and responding to patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette Manage multi-line phone systems and perform clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document review Support the dental team with administrative duties Requirements Proven experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role with familiarity in dental terminology and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance verification processes Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred along with familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office management procedures Join us as a Dental Receptionist where your enthusiasm for helping others meets your passion for healthcare administration!
